Madrid-NY: I had to tell a couple in the coach cabin that they couldn’t lie on top of each other. The guy got all aggressive and said, “is it illegal to hug each other!” Had to tell him he could legally hug her in a seated position & that it was ridiculous I had to have this conversation with him.

As if flight attendants can control passengers who take their bags with them during emergency evacuations. Ya know what doesn’t help? Cutesy fun safety videos. I’ve only been saying that for 20 years. I wrote this in 2015 mashable.com/archive/airp...

When I was junior I paid coworkers a lot of money to take less desirable trips to be off for special events and I was thankful that I was able to do so. It’s not just a senior thing. Also a flexibility thing.

Now all the other news outlets are picking up that story that regurgitated old quotes out of context from my book and then refers to me as a former flight attendant. I’m still working! I’m gonna write about this @dailymail.co.uk

Yo @dailymail.co.uk I’m not a “former flight attendant” and if they actually interviewed me about this you would know that!!! Instead you regurgitated quotes from past articles or maybe my book.

At LAX airport watching a man take a picture of a receipt for pizza. I get it. I paid $8 for a bottle of water. 😩

I feel honored to be a part of this creative group. New York Times interviewed different people in different professions regarding small luxurious treats. In other words, how we splurge without shame.

Fodor’s asked me about passengers climbing over passengers in flight. Yeah, that’s a firm no. But if you do decide to crawl over someone on a plane, which side do you put in their face? 🤣

Toxic airline uniform lawsuits: there are two law firms representing airline employees: LA & Chicago. I’m with LA. We won the first bellwether trial. Plaintiffs were awarded 1 million. My case will be presented individually after the next upcoming bellwether trial. I expect to see more victories.

New York-London: Woman in premium economy got upset because the audio on her headset didn’t work at her seat. I told her she could switch seats and pointed to 4 different open seats in the same cabin. She demanded a first class seat and asked to speak to the purser. 🙄

I just did an interview for Fodor’s regarding sitting next to annoying (chatty) passengers. Reminded me of the time a passenger on my commuter flight tried to convert me to his religion. I listened for a few minutes and then interrupted to let him know I preferred to watch a movie.

A strict airline attendance policy is used as an extreme cost cutting tool. Flight attendants work inside flying tubes trapped with sick passengers for HOURS 15 plus days a month. It’s ridiculous. This allows airlines to keep hiring underpaid workers
