The neighbors have a bird house that some wrens use. I love hearing them yell at me when I am at my feeders and watching them go after bugs near the compost!

I so wanted that happy ending 😕

I was coming along here to say this.

Type O Negative
Slayer
Marilyn Manson
Nine Inch Nails
Set It Off (taken my child many times. No one would take me to see my bands when I was a wee teen. I want them to have the concert experience.)

He is tempting me to go back. It’s hard knowing what was done to my classmates when the Church moved a pedophile from parish to parish to parish. Still makes me so mad!

Based on stories I have heard from around the US. At least they read books!! They are using a new curriculum to try and use the literary story to learn about the world, history, and stuff. Sounded good at a meeting I went to about the change. But it frustrates my daughter.

I am trying remember what we read…Moby Dick, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, Beowulf, the Iliad or the Odyssey (I was not a fan), Huck Finn, etc. In the later years, we each picked a book from a list to read. I picked Native Son…that one stuck with me.

That sounds delightful!!

Bummer. That happens. I am glad you could absorb books at home! I went to a small, parochial school through 8th grade. Very little “extra” learning.

My daughter did not start out as a reader. I am so glad she picked it up. Some many worlds open up when you read. Book ❤️

What!?!? Wow! That is crazyI was in Honors English classes back in ‘90’s. I think we read 4 a semester? More? I wish I could remember. We read quite a few books.

My daughter has been covering “Animal Farm” in accelerated English since August. They are working to make connections to the world and such. But yeah…she is a Junior.

At home she reads a book or more a week.

It have not done, because I find it stressful and I forget to move it and stuff! 😂. I look forward to your posts about it!

This is the term of the week…

I think about this a lot. My college went to internet phones. So of the internet goes, no classes but the computers won’t work (I could make something work on the board), no authenticators to make things work, no access to texts, etc. scary stuff!

That pen, though!

I hope not…I can’t take another change.

There are certain foods my 7-year old hates. He hates stew (he’s tried it more than once). We love stew, so I make something different for him those nights. No big deal.

I’ve been on a Manson kick lately. So many memories of his concerts and the protesters outside.

Just to add my biased vote for Peter Steele or Type O Negative.
