We have used Dodonaea viscosa (sticky hop bush) which is local/native, but considered a ‘woody weed’. It grows quickly and takes over disturbed sites, and so we thinned it from other restoration sites and transported to these sites (without seeds of course). A win win for both spots!

Sure does! plus reduces herbivory from kangaroos and goats, a major barrier to restoration in this part of Aus (onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1...)
