My most recent rescue is a real heartbreaker. Infected wounds, giardia, FIV. And so sweet even my reactive demon dogs want to save him.

Kudos to the athletes at the Lake Springfield Triathlon! Every one of them thanked us for coming out. Most took the time to find the trash can. Vibes were amazing!

The face of the person who dropped 11 miles into a 10O mile race because her body said "No, thank you." My very first DNF. I usually just start laughing when everything goes to shit, but this time felt kinda serious kinda early. Awesome race, tho. 10/10.
