There are brilliant people doing good work in the labs of pharmaceuticals with the goal of saving people’s lives. Pharmaceuticals kept my mother alive for years. Pharmaceuticals of save my kid from allergic reactions. They keep me from having asthma attacks. Big Pharma is not all bad. 4/4

Both of these issues are easily dealt with by changing laws. Don’t allow healthcare to be publicly listed, and don’t allow pharmaceuticals to market their drugs.3/4

Big Pharma is big Pharma because a) these are publicly listed companies and they do a lot of shitty jacking up prices specifically for the stock gains and b) US laws allow for marketing drugs in sleazy ways. 2/4
