Professionally, a hack and a flack (retired, mostly). Dog whisperer. Avid reader. Compulsive collector of Royal Albert Old Country Roses bone china, currently storing place settings for 312.
The dementia is accelerating by the hour - and becoming increasingly dangerous as he calls for his perceived enemies to be hung as "traitors." All while he giddily solicits "gifts"and sells off US military equipment and aircraft to a country with known deep ties to Russia and China. WTF, USA?

If you're into horror, these days keep it fresh. Interesting selection of reading matter, Mark. I still prefer total escape fiction (the Thursday Murder Club series is fun) and long walks with a short dog.

There's a resolution going forward in the UN to investigate Trump for war crimes relating to the bombing of boats in the Caribbean and Gulf. They should add Hegseth to that resolution.

Well, who didn't expect 60 Minutes to heavily edit the Trump interview? Especially since nobody could be expected to sit through a full hour (at least) of incoherent babble and self-congratulation.

Why is this willfully ignorant dumbass STILL the Speaker of the House?

Don't bother posting stories if we have to subscribe to read the whole article.

Why can't the Dems call all their colleagues back to work? They seem to be in Washington and in the House. If a few GOP delegates joined them to create a majority couldn't they demand/declare the House reopen for business? And while they're at it, get a new House Leader elected. Somebody with fire.

Apparently he's now in control of the military, since he can order it to strike and destroy civilian boats off Venezuela. Has the coup already happened?

Defenestration seems to be awfully prevalent in Putin's Russia.

BOOMERTIFA! I love it. Count this aging hippie in. Just let me get my flowered bellbottoms out of the closet.

Well of course she did. Performance for her audience of one. And a cheap self-protection/deflecton gimmick. She needs to resign or be impeached outta there.

The guy has a history of stiffing his employees and contractors. Did anyone really think he wouldn't carry that forward into his current position? If anyone doesn't "deserve" the perks and pay (whether he actually donates the latter or not) of the presidency, it's this guy.

Pants on fire. Nose is longer than a telephone wire.

I'm sorry. "I didn't see (the news clip / the video / the social media post that's gone viral)" is NOT A VALID RESPONSE. It's part of their job to be informed about current events, and this obliviousness is soooo ingenuous. And unbelievable. Pants on fire, there, Johnson.

In the words of Joni Ernst: "Well, we're all going to die." If I had a young family, I'd be looking at moving out of state right about now - and homeschooling the kids until we were settled in a place with mandated, and free, vaccinations.

They don't lose power just because they are not seated in the House or Senate. It means they shift from active to advisory roles. Robert Reich is a fine example; he continues to shine an informed light on policy and procedure.

He is ALWAYS, ALWAYS late for pressers, meetings with heads of other governments that are not Russia, etc. It's a power play to show superiority, to keep others waiting (as Putin did with Trump in Alaska).

Where on earth did he get that hat? What is it covering up?
