Our sweet Lady Stardust has crossed the rainbow bridge.
Our elderly dog Lady, a red heeler. She is seen laying down on the grass in front of a bush of pink flowers on a sunny day. Today our sweet Lady Stardust has crossed the rainbow bridge. She was a rescue Eric adopted back when he lived in Arizona about twelve or so years ago. When Eric and Lady moved to SLC they then added an additional oddball artist to the family. For ten years we have all adventured together. Lady loved our family woods in WA, and our desert dog got used to the rain moving to Portland. She was alert but kind to her cat sister Nadja. Lady loved popcorn, carrots, snuggling especially with people who may or may not be allergic. She loved to roam the woods herding everyone making sure we all stayed together. She was a stubborn smart and absolutely goofy. In the end she was struggling with some health issues mainly due to her age. We are devastated to have to say goodbye but she passed peacefully. Lady was very loved.
