A post about my book on IG resulted in 20 views. A re-post reel about a dog and baby has generated (so far, it's still going) 74,000 views. 20 new followers. My son says they're bots.

What's everybody reading? I'm in a reading slump and am taking recs. I read everything from romance (low to medium heat) to domestic thrillers. Self-recs are fine, too. Even better if you're available in the library system, either audio or ebook.

My 2 cents on the Kindle Unlimited controversy. I'm mostly wide (and trad published for many of my books) but I can tell you this January-February sales have been soft everywhere. Apple, Nook, KOBO. This happens every year in Jan-Feb and now other factors are at play.

The difference between old me and current me: I wanted to give up when writing got tough. Now, I instead consider changing lanes. Pivot. There's no good reason to stay in your own lane if it's not working. It's never too late to start over.

Confession: though I have written plenty of spicy scenes, they're not my favorite to write. They take me for-ever! I'm thinking of moving on to writing closed door.
