As someone who discovered VERY late in life that they are autistic, this show resonated so much with me. My highschool years were in the 80s but this is still accurate. Props to the BBC for casting an autistic actress as the lead.

My success of this weekend is getting my severely depressed, autistic, and OCD teenager to have a shower for the first time in 8 days. Had to go hard on encouragement and stay up to midnight to fulfill my promise of homemade pizza, but I will take the win.

We adopted this tiny rat terrier / chihuahua cross in February. The vet estimated she was about 18 months old. I started putting up the Xmas tree yesterday and she was fascinated. I don’t think she’s ever seen one before. (She’s on top of the doggie stairs, staring at the lights.)
