I agree with Donald Trump that an unelected bureaucrat should be fired.

Let’s start with Elon Musk.

A national hero

The stock market is tanking so badly it almost feels like we are being governed by someone who went bankrupt six tim— oh.

we are getting a national version of red state governance, where the people in charge do everything they can to impoverish the state under the view that the more wretched things get, the easier it is for them to stay in power

If you thought it wasn’t possible—well, here we are. Musk pulled $80 million in funding authorized by Congress straight from NYC’s bank account. The federal government took the funds and called it a “clawback” of taxpayer money. A lot of others would simply call it stealing.

Some federal employees who accepted Trump’s buyout offer are now being notified that their buyout has been denied, and they are being terminated instead.

Elon Musk’s staffers have been going through data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), which oversees healthcare coverage for over 160 million people through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Elon Musk now has access to your Social Security number. The world’s richest man has gained access to the confidential personal information of every taxpayer in the United States.

Education Department employees have been placed on leave for attending diversity training. Meanwhile, Republicans have introduced a bill to eliminate the Department of Education.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

They aren’t firing for a reason.
