Small town kid turned State Senator SD36 (DFL). I 💙 Minnesota, coffee, my family, and every single Taylor Swift album. #mnleg

Btw, while door knocking in Lino Lakes, I heard from parents anxious about sending their kids back to school tomorrow. As a mom, I understand that fear. Our children deserve to be safe at school and I’ll keep working on the needed public safety policies to support our families.

Parade season 2025 complete! Thank you to everyone who showed up, volunteered, and made it a success. I love finishing parade season in my hometown, Vadnais Heights, too. The smiles and support are always appreciated. See you next year!

My district has some of the best restaurants and shops. This morning was coffee with a White Bear Lake city council member at one of my favorite coffee spots in WBL. Thank you Bean & Co for the delicious breakfast and coffee.

Yesterday my daughter graduated from Mounds View High School and part of the tradition was walking through your elementary school where the students offer grads advice. Shout out to this wise elementary student who gave the best advice and made us all cry with the last line. 🫶

Honored to vote to rename the 10th Avenue Bridge as the Senator Kari Dziedzic Memorial Bridge. Kari was my mentor, a fierce advocate for Northeast Minneapolis, and a true public servant to all of Minnesota. #mnleg

Did you get this text tonight? Here’s the truth: In 2023, the DFL delivered historic $ for seniors, nursing homes, & vulnerable Minnesotans. We eliminated social security income tax for ~80% of seniors. I watched Republicans vote AGAINST these bills. The hypocrisy is wild, even for them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today in Circle Pines. Last month we did a town hall, this month we combined a townhall with a community meet and greet and the conversation and feedback was appreciated and inspiring. We'll do it again soon!

The toughest choice on a Friday night during Lent is choosing which walleye to order. 🐟

Really curious if all the conservatives with American flags in their bios are cool with having a king.

Thank you to Otter Lake Elementary in White Bear Lake for inviting me to be part of Principal For the Day! Every time I visit one of the schools in my district I'm reminded how thankful I am for educators. You make our community stronger and better.

Centennial isn't just a wonderful school district in our community, it's where I taught for many years. Now, I'm so proud to be their voice in the Senate and look forward to working on our common goals. #mnleg

First of all, as a member of the Senate, I have no involvement in the negotiations or procedures of the House, a completely separate chamber of the legislative branch.

I've been working on several bipartisan bills and I look forward to continuing that work in session January 14th. #mnleg

From Minnesota Senate Media:
Senator Kari Dziedzic (1962-2024)

In remembrance of Senator Dziedzic, a red rose and a photograph are placed on her Senate chamber desk.
