I believe that there are 4 district councils within Ward 4, and their role, among other things, is to advocate for the residents in their respective neighborhoods and bring their concerns to the city. Of four district councils, he has already damaged his relationship with one. It’s a very bad start.

HMC exists solely to advocate for the residents of this community. If he’s so willing to throw it under the bus, how can any residents here trust him to represent their interests?

His main selling points in terms of past experience come down almost entirely to his work at HMC, a nonprofit that does amazing work for residents of this ward. He was willing to jeopardize the funding of that same organization to further his campaign.

I just wanted to put out there that if you intend to make a change to your state ID, don’t wait. Things are changing fast and it’s terrifying.

I hate that I had to do that, but a piece of plastic doesn’t dictate who I am. There are rumors now that people with x markers will be detained, there is no shame in doing what you need to do to keep yourself safe.

I don’t have a passport. I have an enhanced ID (one step above the real ID, it allows me entry into Canada and Mexico) with an x gender marker in Minnesota. Today I was able to change to a binary gender marker - who knows how long that will even be possible.
