This was one of my favorite things about The Double. You rarely see such nuanced and layered writing for villains. You end up with some sympathy for them, especially the princess, while at the same time knowing they are irredeemable due to their actions.
Speaking abt the sexy side of #TheDouble #cdrama, I NEED to talk about the most problematic, abusive, delicious relationship between crazy princess and murderous husband.😍 Yes, they're evil, but have you seen how desperate he is? Constantly on the verge of tears and insanity, tormented by the ghost+

Watched the Ruby Franke documentary and the husband does not seem to feel true remorse for his role in what happened. It seems like he just misses his wife and the money/fame from their YT videos. The way the oldest daughter doesn’t call him dad or associate with him either speaks volumes.

Finished Moonlight Mystique and was disappointed but can’t really articulate why. I loved the costumes though, you don’t often see such vibrant colors in cdramas.

This obsession is unhealthy. Our horizons are fine. Also social media, for most, is not a job. It is not school. It is socializing. And it’s fine to say “I don’t want to hang out with Nazis, homophobes, transphobes etc in my free time.”
Opinion - The problem with Bluesky: It won’t broaden our horizons: In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win, the social-media platform has enjoyed a surge of new users looking for an alternative to Elon Musk’s X. But will it be useful, if it just creates an echo chamber for the left?
