While I’d prefer a vocal protest, some kind of active protest at a minimum needs to be happening - turning their backs on this farce, walking out and starting to give interviews, *something*. Sitting with a little sign is insufficient.

So by coming out and saying the cause of the crash must be DEI, it gives Trump free rein to disparage DEI in the name of the victims until we know differently. He might as well have said the cause of the crash with gophers, and then all we would hear is gopher talk. 2/2
