Poetry and Photography
Photography and poetry are both invitations—to slow down, to look more closely, to feel more deeply. Through ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) I have added movement and feeling to each image to hopefully encourage you gaze longer and thus slow down and enjoy the moment.

Three Aspen in a PNW Winter:
Sometimes, the quietest trees have the wildest stories. Did you know aspen trees are all connected underground by their roots? It’s like a secret tree club—no password required, just a love of winter and a flair for standing tall together.

I love early more walks and evening walks. Sunrises and sunsets. One morning last week I went to my local grocery and could not resist making images of all the lovely Dahlia flowers in pots for sale out on the sidewalk. It was a beautiful start to my day.

I am now offering 2 sizes of mugs and 3 sizes of tote bags with a few of my images.

My online photography shop is open. I am selling prints of my art. I have a mix of traditional images and abstract and painterly images. The image below is named Whirlwind of Colorful Flowers and can be found in my Abstract category. Prices start at $12.85.

I received a People’s Choice 1st place ribbon in photography.

I am excited about the opportunity to write an article for ICM Photography Magazine. I cover new directions in my photographic art since I took the New Beginnings Workshop. I am looking forward to seeing what my classmates have been doing artistically. It is an online quarterly magazine.
