I am rambling and I appreciate you responding to me and your patience as I grapple with Americas totalitarianism. I hope there is a way out from under this situation but aside from legal challenges, not much is moving the needle.

I know we are in a bad place and it has happened so quickly. I read a quote on Substack today that said “I didn’t realize normal sat next to abnormal.”

Life goes on and it’s easy to tune out what is happening but all the nastiness is right there waiting.

I am trying to keep my fear in check. I’m not scared of SM, I am scared of the F-350’s covered in Trump stickers & flags deciding I am taking too long crossing the street. There is a Wild West mentality among the “Oakley’s on ICE” and 1500 pardons of J6ers that says it’s okay to punch the gas.

He also wants the Democratic Party to be targeted. That’s red neighbor against blue neighbor. This is one time where I think he means what he is saying. They are announcing that they wish prison, rape or death on blue voters,as we are the enemy of good in their eyes
