Got to see Peter Daniel Bernal painting exhibit at SVSU during a break from state robotics comp. His work fused his heritage, Catholicism, US politics, and the struggle that indigenous peoples face. This piece “Critical Thinkers” really made me stop. Painted while FOTUS was campaigning in 2016.
