So, I mentioned I was going to Bear Camp. The bears didn't get the memo, and we only saw one bear while we were there.

I just spent a few days at Bear Camp, hoping to photograph grizzly bears filling up on salmon before winter. We saw a total of one (1) bear. Here's a Golden Eagle enjoying a late lunch of salmon.

Sitting on a bench with 35kg on my lap wasn’t part of tonight’s workout, but a nice reminder for me that up until September last year, this is how much extra weight I was carrying around every day. Another 9 or so to go.
Met, sitting on a bench at the gym. There are three weight plates stacked on my lap wasn’t- black is 20kg, red is 10kg and grey is 5kg.

Saw a red triangle slug today. It was recently discovered that red triangle slugs can secrete a mucus that effectively superglues predators in place for over 24 hours.
