I'm pro-trans today, tomorrow, yesterday, 20 years from now, and forever. I think that certain, very loud trans people have absolutely no risk assessment abilities because they're in blue states and high on white privilege. Their experience with anti-trans state violence is largely hypothetical.

Do you have any more recent examples than a bombing that happened in 1886?

Yeah, German communists critiqued their way straight into the concentration camps.

Yeah, Newsom is anti-homeless so I guess we'd better [reads writing on hand] make sure the candidate who is even more anti-homeless gets elected instead. That will clearly show Democrats how pro-homeless people voters are.

And then the commenter who was talking some BS about how Dems "vote shaming" them isn't a good way to get people to vote. WE HAVE NAZIS AND FASCISTS IN OFFICE. If that's not enough for you to vote for the alternative candidate, you're a nazi and a fascist. You shouldn't need to be wooed.

Yeah, it's wild to me that one side is fascist, the other side is fighting fascism, and they're..... fighting the people fighting fascism. And they still think they're the good guys.

Voters said Kamala was too progressive in exit polls. So now the overton window has shifted again, and Dems have to downplay trans issues even further, and we're almost certainly going to end up with a moderate further right than Biden. And the left will once again choose a fascist instead.

And you guys did this! If yall hadn't spent the better part of a year discouraging people from voting, we would have sent a message that we WANT progressive policy, and we're NOT afraid of trans rights. The next candidate would need to be equally or more progressive. But we went hard right instead.
August 29, 2025 at 5:46 AM
It's also worth pointing out that Kamala's track record on trans rights was very positive and she never said a thing against trans people, but yall still used that to justify not voting for her because she wasn't "vocal enough". Well, voters thought she was TOO vocal, so now Dems have to pivot.
