Or maybe it's just my delusions of wanting more True Harem endings clouding my judgement and going "this is how the other boys ALSO dating the heroine can still be canon-compliant". It's really hard to explain what I'm thinking here into words.

And as to how the reverse harem aspect resolves it's like... It technically does have a "true love interest" but the ending itself doesn't feel all THAT commited to it? Like, even though I can tell that's what they're going for it doesn't necessarily "deny the other boys" all that much?

-were THE duo that made me question "hold up are they... Are they doing fujobait here???" Like they still have the plausible deniability of Mitsuru being a dramatic weirdo but he keeps saying "he belongs to me" about Mutsuki... Like I wouldn't say I ship them but you know, I have EYES.

And yet there were still some loose ends that didn't get fully explained... Like I still don't feel like I get why the heroine's dad did all that shit. But that doesn't impact my overall enjoyment of it that much.

Also... there ARE quite a few "bro duos" among the boys but Mitsuru and Mutsuki-

By the last 2 or 3 volumes I did feel like the mangaka had been given an ultimatum on how many chapters she had left to wrap everything up, so the last 10 or so chapters feel like they're moving reveals and other stuff at a much faster pace than before.
