On the contrary one of my issues before (I'm ok with it now) was that the story doesn't even slightly judge Denji's choices.Only the obvious villainous characters question denji.Anytime he's judged for anything It's child denji which just tells you that the story is not presenting it as his fault.

And the story is about people getting sucked into or already living within that structure. Neither Denji nor Asa (two kids) are judged by the story cause it's not about that.

I don't think the point of Chainsaw Man is that the fault is with two children when so much of the story is about the politics, the systemic abuse, capitalism, patriarchal standards all dooming everyone.

Whereas with Chainsaw Man part 2 it's very obviously not for everyone and neither is it doing things in any familiar way like part 1. Dropping it is understandable. +

They're not the same stories. Part 2 is obviously a different style. But both Part 2 & part 1 feels exactly as planned as they're meant to be.

Part 2 infact feels more planned cause it's a singular story rather than a structured arc after arc formula.
