neither the independent or democratic socialist parties have enough official members to accomplish anything. he had to capture the disillusioned democrats, was doing that and could've continued to increase that..,if DNC had supported his campaign, even as an independent, we wouldn't be here.

my take is that the DNC decided that it was Hilary's turn, so they promoted her instead of Bernie (eek- a democratic socialist?!) even though Bernie clearly had a movement...
