Nah it's all good, I see your perspective, I just think its worth trying at the very least. If it fails, and the bill passes, egg on my face, but I don't wanna just lay down and say its hopeless either.

So the assumption here is that calling senators is useless, they'll by default nuke the filibuster, push this through and then kill us all? Fighting means fighting, in any form in whatever way I as a singular person can like??

Sure, but if they won't do it for a bill to keep the government open I have my doubts they'll do so over a singular bill.
