I had to put my cat, Bagheera, down the other day and grief really comes in waves. She was just cuddling with me a week and a half ago and they just called me that her ashes are ready. I’m gonna miss her.

Anyway I don’t even know if this counts as poetry but I wrote this after a situation ship fell apart and it feels from my very soul like poetry to me. Or maybe that’s just the grief I thought I got over. Here it is:
