I've been doing some high quality high volume spay/neuter relief on my days off for almost the past year. Today someone snapped this photo of me standing in front of just some of my surgery patients for the day, a good chunk of them are out of frame.

I got a custom leather belt from this guy on etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/DDJLeat...). He's a real craftsman, not some disguised dropshipped garbage. I love how it looks and the quality is impeccable. Plan to have it until I die.

Them: Why do we have to learn geometry in school, there's no real world application.
Also them:
A pick up truck has towed an over-sized shipping container under a fixed overhang at a gas station to fill up their tank. The top of the container is mere inches from the top of the overhang and will collide with it toppling the entire structure if it pulls forward even a little because of the angle of the container top. Not pictured just out of frame: a very confused and panicked pick-up driver and the disgruntled tow truck driver recruited to solve this fuck up.

I did my first resection and anastomosis last night and removed about 6 inches of bowel from a cat with a necrotic/ruptured intussusception. She's doing well this morning but won't be 'out of the woods' until after day 5ish post-op. CW: surgery images below.
