I feel like somewhere in this is that those in power can’t allow anything signaling virtue that would show an alternative to the world of vice they are promoting. They can’t let people strive for good or noble things publicly that might invoke hope or change.

Why are they allowed to keep their medical licenses?! Ignoring scientific standards should be grounds for revocation.

I should specify - a genetic marker for hEDS, as some exist for other subtypes.

That is something I wonder - how much new diagnoses are truly EDS and how much is just the impact of repeat COVID infections causing similar symptoms like hypermobility. A genetic marker for EDS would be so helpful!

I did an event with Novo Nordisk reps a few weeks back and asked them about this; they had no idea if GLP-1s were being studied for LC or not. Glad to see more research in this area is indeed being done!
