Just before our festive break, we met up with other local Healthwatch teams for a development day in Kendal.✨👋

We had an amazing time getting to know each other better, and working together to come up with some ideas for our future work, and how we can support each other.

What can you expect from the Healthwatch Cumberland team in 2026?✨

We'll be continuing our Trans Voices project and beginning a new phase of our Paternal Wellbeing project. We've also got plans to launch a Youth Mental Health project soon.

Our final memory in our countdown to 2026 is the Baton of Hope Tour.🩵

In September, the Healthwatch Cumberland team supported baton bearers at the Baton of Hope Tour across Cumbria. The event raised awareness for mental health support and suicide prevention, and was a day filled with emotion.
