Transforming the primary health care system in rural Rwanda starts with providing the right tools and training to health care workers. In just one month, we trained nearly 1,000 workers on the new electronic medical record (EMR) system that will impact every single patient at our health centers.

In partnership with the Rwanda Ministry of Health (MOH), Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), and UNICEF, we have spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative to revolutionize health care delivery in Nyabihu District.

A joint team of Health Builders and Rwanda Biomedical Center staff in the non-communicable diseases (NCDs) Division kick off a field visit in Nyabihu District. Together, they’ll oversee the implementation of c-EMR, NCD guidelines and more in the district.
