Ignoring all the obvious studio hype for other games and whatever else. I think it was the art direction. It’s all over the place with the look and the contrast between shiny heroes in suits and horsey rides was wicked whiplash

Yeah pretty much. It’s really good when it all comes together though. Me and my buddy play on ps5 if you’re ever looking for people to play with at all.

I do think ds2 had some real surprising moments but it was mostly in the cutscenes and rarely in the gameplay unfortunately.
