Could not agree more. It’s insane to me when self proclaimed advocates of urbanism and transit chastise those who call out anti social behavior. We need more than edgy 23 year olds riding transit and staying in our cities to grow their families.

Abundance & freedom should be the framework with which you and others promote these ideals. Abundant housing. Freedom to travel easily, safely and efficiently on foot, bike, transit, OR car. Freedom to build with less restrictive zoning. Abundant world class transit. Freedom of movement.

Totally agree. If we’ve learned anything from the 2024 election, it’s that we need to broaden the reach of those who we speak to.

It’s crazy how so many people don’t make the connection. I know so many people who will go vacation in Europe and talk about how they loved the “cute streets” and walking everywhere. Then they will actively vote for policy that turns their place of residence into a soulless stroad filled strip mall.
