Jeez, I didn’t think there’d be such a strong demand for modded, slightly mundane Jap stuff. Have classic fast Fords priced themselves out of the market?

It’s obviously had a lot of money spent on it and it looks nice but I think he’ll struggle to get near that money.

And they’re stupidly expensive as well! Plus, most people who can afford said bikes are old enough to know they’re stupid, unusable on most roads to even 50% of their potential and look ridiculous with all the wings and other crap manufacturers seem to think are amazing.

Absolutely. I think if I tried to listen to an audiobook I’d not pay attention fully and I’d be easily distracted then have to keep rewinding so I could keep up with the plot haha!

Haha! That must be a bit disconcerting! We’ve not really got into audiobooks, I love turning a page and reading and hoping my boy is the same, gonna introduce him to Discworld soon, think he’d enjoy them.

My boy was similar, I read The Snail And The Whale so many times I didn’t actually need to read as I’d memorised it. Was very helpful when keeping the lighting low as well haha! He grew out of wanting me to read a year or so ago and it’s still hasn’t quite become normal for me yet.

Thought the reflection at the top was jam and someone had double dipped the knife. A bit of butter on the end is bad enough, double dipped though? Straight to jail, no chance of parole.

Wind turbine blades are typically not made of metal, almost all, especially the larger offshore installations are made from fibreglass sheets bound together with resin. There are tiny strips of metal embedded in the blade for lightning conduction and that’s about it.

Great stuff, thanks, I’ll put that on my list of things to do with my boy.

Is that a submarine you can go and look around and inside? Which museum is it?

You can’t read the name as it’s too far away but it’s the Rebecca M for Humber Workboats

I’ve actually just come out of an interview for an upstairs role where I work and I did cite being physically worn out as a reason to apply for it! Thing is I’m not sure I’m ready to work in an office haha!

I need the breaks so I can walk away from my apprentices before I sling them off something really high for not following simple instructions haha!

Yes it’s a joke, I’m a 50year old maintenance engineer on a massive site. I’m hoping I can save enough money to be able to retire before my body is completely broken.

You could retrain for something less strenuous /s
