I was unable to listen to sometimes i breathe on my drive to work because YouTube decided (due to the length?) that it was acceptable to play an ad in the middle of the song. 3 minutes long and unskippable (not that I could have skipped it while driving anyway).

Work radio showed a tiny bit of mercy and threw in an occasional regular song among the Christmas songs. I don't really expect this to be the case once December starts though.

There is so much good music that exists and it's depressing that most of it will never be heard simply because people will never cross paths with it in their lifetime.

It's kind of weird that nobody speedruns Pizza Tower anymore. That game is very technical with a lot of obscure tricks and inputs and I feel like that info is not being passed to the next generation. We might end up at a point in the future where nobody knows how to speedrun the game anymore.

Annoying shifting trend of internet demographics stemming from a convo I read elsewhere: Apparently a lot of people now, if they see a username ending in "88", will NOT naturally assume that the user was born in 1988, but will automatically assume that the user is an open nazi regardless of context.

I looked into it and apparently there's no way to boost the bass on laptop speakers, Windows doesn't support it, you need real speakers. Too many songs completely unlistenable without headphones.

As much as I don't like SSBM Vs. Mode players, I'll never get tired of videos where they think that being good at one mode automatically makes you good at the rest of the game and they try 1P modes and shockingly realize that they actually suck and the real 1P players are way better than them.

I never considered myself a "music person", especially growing up, but I'm realizing as an adult that I actually have a wider taste than than most people now... Because a lot of people EXCLUSIVELY listen to 1 genre of music. I could never restrict myself like that, I'd be missing too much.

I don't understand how people "accidentally" have their mouse cursor display on screen when streaming games from their computer. You can literally disable capturing it in your streaming software. There's no reason for it to ever be visible.
