As an outsider, I kind of admire this system economists have. It gives negotiation power to those raising stars who receive several offers. And it makes you publish fewer better papers. That only 5 journals matter can be solved by changing it to 6 or oven 7 :-)

Worried about their negative assessment of sibling fixed effects."Only sibling pairs discordant on both exposure and outcome contribute to within-pair association,leading to strongly reduced statistical power..." Power is defined by discordance in the binary outcome only and not the exposure, right?

But when looking at intra cohort aging trends of psychotropic medication use (group trends not individual trajectories),usage indeed went up with every generation (cohort trends) but the need for medication decreased when growing older (age,data flaws,higher awareness or success of early treatment?)
