Shout out to @runwithskizzers.bsky.social for introducing me to my travel buddy (a PureZone mini air filter). It provides another layer of protection AND makes me feel like I’ve got a mini shai halud staring at me/keeping me company
POV: looking down at the top of a black air purifier suspended from my neck. It is a semi-rounded square cylinder. The top vent has a classic “fan” appearance with central solid circle surrounded by radiating lines of black with openings between them. If you stare at it long enough (& maybe also have been traveling for a while) you might be able to convince yourself it resembles the mouth of a tiny sand worm from Dune. Background is my Jean covered legs, grey airport carpet and green roller suitcase

Bullethead blenny (Blenniella gibbifrons) popping its little head up out from a hollow in a coral &algae encrusted reef rock. It has delicate green/brown on white patterning, striping around the eye, and two tiny forehead cirri. There is the top of a gastropod shell to the right and it almost looks like the blenny is actually a snail.

The fish's pectoral fins are braced against the sides of the hollow and its body curves gently back as if to highlight the beauty of its dotted dorsal fin and striped body.
