Yes I do believe so.. mental illness, bad luck, poor life choices,curses.. it packed a lot into it's 5-6hrs play time.

What remains of Edith finch? While not terminal, it certainly deals with an entire families deaths.. not technically terminal, but it was excellent and managed to make me feel profoundly sad at the end (and I'm pretty hard nosed).

You could put them into a collection and self publish on amazon... they do take 30% however.. which is common sadly

Aye it is.. they build their decision trees, and they are somewhat rigid by necessity otherwise the story arcs don't work.. ah well.. we enjoy it for the smallest moment (and in that moment get lost in it).

Isn't this how all the bioware games worked in past? They always make you choose (subtly or blatantly). Was the same in mass effect trilogy. I let chars i want bothered with fall by the wayside.. my daughter played it and lost no one (god knows how)
