The Netflix documentary said he began using his relationship with Wexler to lure women/girls telling them he was looking for Victoria's Secret models. Sounded like he was working on his own before Maxwell. However, I think she's the one who probably took him from amateur to pro via her contacts.

I just watched the Netflix show on Epstein, "Filthy Rich," and it looks like they did. Also, there was Jon-Luc Brunel, who owned a modeling agency in France who was doing the same things. He died in jail by "suicide" shortly before Epstein did and I've always they were at least loosely connected.
