On March 28 the body of one humanitarian mission officer Anwar Abdul Hamid Al-Attar was found buried along with other victims of the massacre. According to the PRCS, the army intentionally altered the site and buried them using bulldozers.

Initial forensic analysis of the recovered bodies shows signs of mass executions, with some bodies found tied up with shots to the head and chest and buried in deep holes. The general assessment is that they were witnesses to a larger massacre and murdered so they would not pass on the story.

On March 23rd 9 PRCS Medics and 6 civil defense workers responding to brutal bombing and ground assault on Rafah went missing. Today 14 of their bodies were found and returned tot their families.
