Posting things I find interesting. Mostly TV, movies, and music.
Lol, I love these two. Paul Downs and Megan Stalter from Hacks at the Critics Choice Awards, wearing the same matching outfits that Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner previously wore at the Marty Supreme premiere. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

The description of Diane Keaton's outfit to the 1978 Oscars (the year she won for Annie Hall) is amazing: "a linen jacket, two full linen skirts, a scarf over a white shirt and black string tie, and high heels with socks." www.nytimes.com/2025/10/11/m...

Nothing could have prepared me for the emotional tour de force that was Jenny Slate's performance in the show Dying For Sex. I absolutely loved her character Nikki.

The Great North always has such great original songs. This montage of Beef missing his best friend is adorable. Anyone know who sings this song from season 5 episode 15 ("MIB: Men in Belts Adventure")?

Steve Parkin's reaction to Wrexham being promoted (back-to-back-to-back) is perfection.

Just learned about the "Three Marias." In 1972 they wrote “Novas Cartas Portuguesas” (New Portuguese Letters), a collection of letters they wrote to each other about their problems as women in Portugal. It angered the country’s dictatorship & the women were arrested.

Wow, I completely missed this story. I loved “Portrait of a Lady on Fire” and thought Adele Haenel was great in it. I like her even more now. variety.com/2025/film/gl...

At the end of this article about the Googie architecture style (think The Jetsons), there's a thoughtful reflection on where we are right now as a society: "The sense of excitement for tomorrow that fueled Googie is hard to find in general these days..." www.nytimes.com/2024/12/21/r...

Never would have guessed this: In 1977 Andy Warhol took Jimmy Carter's 79 year old mother Lillian to a party at Studio 54. He also painted a portrait of her.

Lillian Carter sounded like a fascinating woman. She also joined the Peace Corps in her late 60s. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/31/u...

When this song first came out, I could tell it was about Something Serious, but my tween self didn't quite know what. But I still loved it.
