New Years/ Finals break is almost over.

Party will level up finally. Excited to get back into the game

Session 5 is done! The party is pushing their luck. No rests, no going back to town to resupply, no getting the awards for the completed quests. Just dungeon delving room by room

Fact: bears eat beets. Battlestar Galactica.

Ran the 2nd session today. Some connection problems on the VTT but a fun game was had nonetheless.

Like i said, AI has been a thing in game dev before the current AI redefined the word.

Not all AI is theft. GenAI is.

Condemning something that is NOT theft makes you… it shows someone lacks knowledge in the area that they’re speaking on.

They will probably start using image gen AIs which I agree is theft from artist and is unethical.

But condemning AI as a whole is impossible and unfruitful

Image generation AIs and Language Model AIs are completely different tools in development.

AI has been used in game dev before ChatGPT was a thing and will probably grow in use.

Exploration system is an amazing approach at making thing abstract. It’s off camera just enough and it’s in the moment just enough that I love thinking about it.

Ran a mix of Session 0 & 1 a couple days ago. I think all went well. We have a nice roster of characters, some good motivations for adventure and the players are meshing well it seems.
