But all the controversy about the Gaelic names not being researched properly (I’m a language nerd who’s also 56% Scottish), the second and third books being progressive let downs… I’m expecting to just read the first one to say I did it, and probably look for synopses of the others hahaha 😭

Every review about the series makes me want to read it less 😅 I got the first one at its peak popularity on TikTok, and my partner ended up reading the first two books and says they aren’t his favorite either. I feel like I’m obligated to at least give the first one a shot 😭 just because I bought it

As a girl who’s completely overhauled her socials presence because of the recent bullshit, I so get it - I’m building my presence on here, Tumblr, and I’ve set up a discord for my existing readers - but I’m looking into building a YouTube, too! Maybe try that? The algorithm might be more consistent!
