Perhaps it's more to do with "agency" (as in the ability to make choices). Agents have agency and how a person uses their agency is their agenda.

And IF the argument is that it works decently for short scripts, that's like saying it's good at writing short paragraphs of your story or researching the small details of a piece for you. Sure, maybe it'll "work", but you can't just stitch all those little bits together and call it done.

Lovely slides, but honestly with computer programming just as much work is stolen, it's just as unsustainable, and there's just as much creativity required, there's no reason this should be an exception.

Different gameplay sections aren't inherently bad, they just need to contribute to a cohesive whole!

I don't know, Up (the film) starts with that really nice silent sequence giving us the background of the main character. Then the storytelling changes radically. The characters start speaking! This is good because both parts function really well and support each other.
