Found this cool planter in the gift shop at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario. On sale for only $13 USD! Hubby wouldn't let me get 2. 😮‍💨

This is the Hadany Arch, a unique sculpture by Israeli artist Israel Hadany. It's made of Cor-10 steel, and rises 100 feet above the road to the former Lycoming Valley Mall in Muncy, PA. It's fascinating how it changes its apparent shape as you drive by it! #Pennsylvania

The kitchen garden at Dundurn Castle is really beautiful. A combination of edible and ornamental plantings.

It rained today, so we needed something indoors to do. The tour of Dundurn castle was a great experience! We especially appreciated how the tour guide acknowledged the mistreatment of indigenous peoples of Canada and what conditions were like for the servants in a house like this. #Canada

This hibiscus is late starting to bloom this year, but worth the wait. We've had this plant for over 20 years. #gardening

These fungi popped up in the curb strip in front of our house. The last one is from a different part of the neighborhood. All sorts of mushrooms have been springing up because of all the rain we've had this year. #gardening #gaygardener

Some beauties in our garden. The Canna is an "accident." I planted a bunch of them from last year, but they hadn't come up after a few weeks. So I pulled them, but apparently missed a few. I'm so glad I did! Next year, I'll be more patient! #gardening
