Being Misty step alone isnt a bad thing, given the flavor. The part I take issue with is that it costs 5 ki for abilities that aren't worth using 5 ki on and you also have Slow Fall. So in practice you basically dont have 6th level abilities 99% of the time, which just feels bad.

"Let the DM handle it" leads to wild variance on this feature's power between tables. That's not a mark of a well-balanced feature.

Maybe something along the lines of "Once per long rest, you can poison yourself for [x benefit]?" Maybe getting others around you drunk? Just a suggestion.

Can't say this looks balanced.

At 6th level, you have to spend all your ki to use Misty Step. You get nearly the same benefit from just Dashing or using Step of the Wind.

Then essentially infinite ki at 11th level, but just because one thing is broken doesnt mean another broken thing works.
