He's been fine, unless you're calling up Mitchell and waiving someone he's performed better than Hamonic, he's a young defensemen with growing pains he gets love for the same reason ASP does.

No argument from me on the numbers mind you, Talbs in particular has gotten shelled for 10-15 mins every game and Gibson had to stand on his head at the end of the Tampa game, but I think that’s something you can do with relative success if you’re minimizing chances the rest of the game.

Defending is at least a wait and see in my eyes, rookie on the second pair and brand new third pair (AJo hasn’t had to be “the guy” before), but I don’t know that goaltending has been that extreme. They’ve been able to lean on them in moments because they’ve limited how much they’re being tested.

There’s not a serious conversation to be had here if 33% roster turnover is “largely the same” lmfao. Outside of MTL and on the road in TOR wings have largely controlled the games they’ve played against very strong opponents. Aside from Larkin 2 PPG pace nothing they are doing is unsustainable.
