Journalism 101... ask him about the masks. It's all about the masks and overt aggressiveness. Then ask the Police Chief if he ever allows his officers to wear masks. If you're going to both sides everything at least point out the most obvious differences between ICE tactics and city police tactics.

Tom Peter's did a great video on "Excellence in the Public Sector" back in April 2009 that covered many of the same topics. I still own a copy of the VHS tape of that video and often used it in my government management classes way back then. Tom Peters and Michael Lewis are kindred story tellers.

Traditionally, the government ends up doing those things the private sector can't do profitably or fairly. However, when the private sector sees an opportunity to monetize a public good or service their lobbyists kick into action and find ways to privatize said good or service. It's always more $$

Government only does those things the private sector can’t do profitably or fairly. If the private sector sees an opportunity to monetize a public service they will lobby to take it over for their own financial gain. As with everything else in our society just follow the money. Ugh!
