Monthly local challenge today. Currently not playing too much online, but I'm happy that I'm keeping up with locals and keep practising this way.

And it was a fun event! I was worried about ties, and think I did a good job of playing fast, particularly in rounds 2 and 3. Did not play fast enough in the last round, however.

One more event from last weekend, a small local league challenge. There wasn't any need for stunning results, I was just looking to improve on some of the mistakes I made in the last event.

... but truth be told, I didn't do so well in the tournament.
My goal was to give my best every game – it might not look like it from the results, but I think I kind of did. My best, at the moment, is just not very good. Definitely motivated to improve!

Misplays and mistakes did happen, I had a great time though. Opponents were all fantastic, and thanks to staff at Dark Sphere London for running the event. Super well organized!

Found this photo from early 2023. The One Piece card game was a big reason why I later decided to try competing in Pokémon.
Isn't it great just how many cool games are out there? I had so much fun just playing these starter decks.
