Really good. I’ve been working my way through a book about humility recently. It’s taught me a few things and has reframed my thinking on quite a lot. Always a work in progress.

There were & I don’t envy the governments having to make them. Though failing to realise that some people lived alone was pretty basic stuff. Collateral damage.
And now I’ve just spent 10 weeks getting over my first Covid bout. It destabilised my asthma badly, but I’m definitely on the mend now.

Well, there was that thing of having to get used to complete solitude (in my case). Though not sure having it illegal for me to have physical contact with another human being for 4 months exactly did me much good. I’m not the most affectionate of people and I found it soul-destroying.

Oh that’s kind of good to know. I sometimes wonder if I’m just thoroughly antisocial, as I can find people so draining. Even people I like. So much noise! 😂

I don't think my dog would ever forgive me! She starts the count down at least 30 minutes before dinner time as it is. Little does she know she's going to get it an hour early today as I have a long rehearsal right across her usual time. She'll probably try to get two dinners out of me, mind. 🙄

Not something I have to deal with - even back in the day there was usually just the four of us. I went to a friend's for Christmas in Covid - 9 people was too much for me, I found it exhausting. Fun, but sooo tiring.

Oh is she now! 😂 They are the classic. I have a couple of smaller ones & I like them well enough, but I don’t love them.
I have a couple of Hongdians with the “long blade” nib - which is in effect an architect grind. They are great for the money. Still like Onoto or Graf von Faber Castell best.

So he said. Interesting, given we all think he has little girly hands. 😈 I’ve suggested a Montblanc 149 & some significantly cheaper ones - Pelikan M800 & my current favourite brand: Onoto, which are at least British. And make stunning pens.

He messaged the other day, then accused me of being a pen geek! 🤷♀️ I made a few suggestions, having assumed he had a decent budget. 😂 We're still on brand/model - nib size is yet to be discussed. Such fun spending other people's money.
