the gotta catch 'em all of quantitative genetics? somehow I am in possession of every edition of Falconer (& Mackay) Introduction to Quantitative Genetics (aka the quant gen bible)

Checked out our little conservation planting of Garry oak yesterday! Variable survivorship we expect is due to family and microsite variation. Quite a few seedlings seem to be resurrecting themselves from roots and have multiple stems which I didn't know they could do!

I had the best time visiting the Hamilton lab and the Penn State Plant Biology Department this week! Two days full of cool scientists, cool research, and cool trees. @jillahamilton.bsky.social and her lab were amazing hosts & I can't wait to see where their research goes!
