Just started playing The Pale Beyond and I am already digging the arctic explorer premise. ❄️ Some nice sound design as well, very atmospheric. Looking forward to getting into the meat of the resource management gameplay.

More on the vibes-based dialogue options...
Swapping out literal text for symbols and associated emotions is so interesting to me. I liked the intuitiveness of that, along with the immediacy of having to choose quickly. It kept me present within each scene, rather than agonizing over options.

South of the Circle has:
• great art direction
• superb voice acting (seriously, some of the best, most naturalistic performances I've heard in a game in a while)
• non-linear storytelling (my fav!)
• vibes-based dialogue options
Definitely worth picking up if you like narrative adventure games!
