Assume that's a poll across both Orkney and Shetland, so still not possible to say if either, or both, are returning the higher figure. Only box sampling would give an idea of Orkney as against Shetland. I didn't hear anything along those lines at the count but might have left before then.

Election agents would have been observing the verification stage so would have an idea of what the Orkney boxes were showing. I was over behind the cabinets and where the press were so couldn't see any details. Didn't hear from anyone that Reform were 2nd, could have left before then I guess.

I was at the count but left before the end. The Orkney votes were verified but not counted until the Shetland votes arrived and my understanding is that this is so there is a combined result rather than an Orkney one, then a Shetland one, and the 2 added together. That's why it takes so long
